Herb Garden*

Maintained by community volunteers, the herb garden provides a free source of common and not so common herbs for culinary and medicinal uses.

This project began in 2007 when someone had the idea to make this already beautiful and tranquil corner of the village more productive. A local business supplied the timber and constructed the new raised beds, and members of the community donated a range of different herbs, both for culinary and medicinal uses. Today it is a rich and well used resource for for villagers and visitors.
