The village park is very popular with both villagers and those from further afield due to its secluded location and wide open spaces. It is the location for the annual village fete and in recent years has hosted a sunflower growing competition. In 2020 400 hedging shrubs were planted round the perimeter by local children.

Much of the equipment in the village play park is however looking a little jaded, and some of it is in borderline dangerous condition. Fife Council officials have inspected the equipment and are of the same opinion and have provided an initial proposal for replacement of some of the existing equipment and further development of the park by installing seating and picnic tables.
