Following a community consultation in 2021 and subsequent discussions with Fife Council we have a design for the new Playpark, with work due to start in April 2024.
The total cost of the project will be £135,000. Fife Council will provide £30,000 with a further £70,000 coming from the Scottish Government.
The Association's bid to the Fife Environment Trust was successful in raising £30,000, as was our bid for £2,000 from the Local Community Planning Budget.
In order to take the project forward the Community Association had to commit to provide the shortfall of £3,000 through community fundraising. We would also like to raise some additional funds to provide non-play equipment such as picnic benches and floral planters. These would provide the finishing touches to what will be a fantastic development for the village.
Following a very well attended public meeting a number of fundraising ideas were identified, including:

- Live Music Night
- Race Night
- Childrens Cinema Afternoon
- Easter Fun in the Park
- Bric a Brac / Home Baking
- Prize Raffle
- Childrens Sponsored Drawathon
